Small Change, Big Impact
We are an environmental class dedicated to bringing back monarch butterflies from their decline of 90% from the last two decades as of 2018. Our project is to plant milkweed and educate the community and children about the importance of this species and what impact it will have on the environment if it goes extinct.

The Revival of the Monarch Butterfly
A team of high school students working together to bring the Monarch Butterflies back from their rapid decline in population. This project will attempt to grow milkweed at Diamond Bar High School to attract butterflies, educate elementary school kids about the importance of the monarch butterfly, raise community awareness of the important role this species has on the environment, and make the area a brighter place with the wonderful patterns of monarch butterflies.
